What is RPA?

RPA (acronym for Robotic Process Automation) is the name given to the transformation of manual processes and tasks, performed by humans, into automated processes and tasks, performed by robots. These robots are actually computer programs, which know how to follow the steps in the automated process, so that the result is the same as the steps taken by humans, but much faster and error-free.. Basically, the repetitive, usual and monotonous processes are no longer performed by the employees, but left to the robots, who can perform these processes at any time, not being limited by the work schedule, weekends, lunch breaks, holidays or other delays that may occur in the case of employees. Thus, following the automation, it was found rthat robots can perform the same tasks as an employee, at least 10 times faster than the employee.. For example, a robot can respond to 100 emails in less than 2 minutes.
